The average day begins after breakfast, around 9 to 9.30am, and ends around 5 to 6 pm. Some days we do more, some days less, to break up the routine. Starting later or finishing earlier allows the group to enjoy that all-important 'free time' and ensures that you won't get the feeling every single moment is planned and controlled - often the very best experiences happen spontaneously!

There may be occasions when you wish to ask advice about adding to or altering the itinerary during the tour; and because my only priority is to give you a great tour, without trying to please others, you'll soon realise that you can rely on me to give you 'best advice' at all times! After all, one of the main reasons people prefer to take a private tour is so that they can see what they want to see, do what they wish to do, within a well-planned, but flexible schedule. It's so much better touring with your own family and friends rather than 50 or so strangers! Equally important - my policy of total luggage handling, to add the final caring touch!

Please e-mail me if you need help or advice with planning a trip. If it's your first time, take my tip and go for one of the established itineraries on my most popular tours; these have been tried and tested over many years, however, if your group have a specialist interest I can create a tour for your specific needs.
