HOW TO MAKE YOUR INITIAL ENQUIRY

Please email the following info:

Your name

The tour(s) you're interested in

The date(s) required

The name and address of your hotel or accommodation in London (if applicable) OR Your full flight details if we are meeting you at the airport

The preferred start (pick up) time

ONLY THEN, when we have confirmed availability/price book your tour by following the directions below.

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING AND PAY YOUR BOOKING DEPOSIT

Having first checked that we can handle your request use the paypal 'BUY NOW' button on the website to make your booking.

OR you can send your card information in the following way:

On the first email state your Visa/Mastercard* expiry date only, plus the name on the card

On the second e-mail state your card billing address and your card number. *Card Security.

Within 24 hours we will acknowledge and confirm your booking, together with tour details and cost and your guaranteed reservation number - you should immediately advise us if any information is incorrect. 24 hours or more later your card will be charged your booking deposit of 25% of the total cost on day-tours and 50% of the total cost on away tours, subject to our terms of business below.

BALANCE OF PAYMENT TERMS

Your card will have been charged your booking deposit of 25% (daytours) or 50% (overnight tours) of the total cost when you booked your tour. The balance is payable as follows:

Day tours - the balance can be paid by cash, Visa or Mastercard on the day of the tour.

Multi-day tours (Away tours) - the remaining tour balance is due 30 days before your tour date, and is acknowledged with your full tour itinerary documents, and receipted account, forwarded to you by post or email as preferred. Payment may be by paypal, card, check or banker's draft.

Example: Let's assume that the total tour cost for your family/group's tour is £6400:
A deposit of £3200 (50%) is charged at the time of booking. A 2nd payment of £3200 (the balance) is due 30 days before your tour date.

Tour prices quoted are in £’s sterling. Use the currency converter on our website to get the price in your own currency.

Prices quoted are the total price for the car, NOT per person, (except on our multi-day inclusive tours).

GENERAL INFORMATION

Day tours and non-inclusive away tours include:
gasoline/petrol,
all miles driven,
parking,
on-board soft drinks,
occasional snacks (on away tours),
the full services of your driver-guide.
Day tours exclude:
entrance charges to places visited,
meals (except on 'The Big One!' Tour 1 and 'The Big One!' Tour 2).

Away (overnight) inclusive tours include:
gasoline/petrol,
all miles driven,
parking,
full services of your driver-guide,
all entrance charges to places visited,
on-board soft drinks,
occasional snacks,
accommodation with breakfast and other meals as described in the tour itinerary.

Multi-Day Tours Exclude:
Flights to and from the UK.
Any room service charges incurred by you.

Extra Hours: On day-tours additional hours are charged at £35 per hour. On away tours we assume an average 8/9 hour flexible day, longer days can be agreed with your guide at the time.

No additional taxes are charged - the price you see is the price you pay.

GENERAL CONDITIONS Ruddick Tours and its' agents and servants shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury, accident, delay or irregularity suffered by any customer however caused, only to the extent that they are themselves liable under English Law for negligence or breach of the conditions of the contract. The client's contract with Ruddick Tours is subject exclusively to English Law and jurisdiction.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation charges may apply. Refunds are subject to written notice being received by us: If cancellation notice is given - Over 28 days before the tour, a full refund is given. Between 8 and 28 days before the tour, 70% refund. Between 1 and 7 days before the tour, 50% refund. If cancellation is made on the day of a tour, no refund is made. Inclusive multi-day tours only: if an inclusive multi-day tour is cancelled thirty days or more before the scheduled tour date, an administration charge of £100 will be made.

INSURANCE Ruddick Tours does not arrange personal travel insurance, but we strongly recommend it. It can be arranged through any reputable travel agent in your own country or on-line. Here is a link: QuoteWright.com.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY OF YOUR TOUR ...

Tours usually commence from and terminate at your hotel, airport or docks (unless we are requested otherwise). Your final tour documents should be carried with you to London as in addition to detailing your itinerary they contain necessary contact numbers, including a 24 hour direct line, should you wish to re-confirm or alter your meeting time and/or place. If Ray is your guide his mobile telephone number is 07971 087354, in case of emergencies, late arrivals, etc. If another guide is handling your tour his /her mobile telephone number will be stated in your Booking Confirmation.

*Card Security: Some people are nervous despite splitting the card information into 2 emails. To our knowledge none of our clients has ever had a problem doing it this way, but if you still feel uncomfortable about it we completely understand and would ask that you either pay your deposit by PAYPAL. Alternatively, send us an e-mail with your telephone contact number and the best time to call so that the transaction can be handled by phone.
