ENQUIRY AND BOOKING INFORMATION
YOUR INITIAL ENQUIRY
I can handle diary space enquiries from today's date to December 31st 2010 - you can check my availability by looking at my online diary.
If the dates you are provisonally interested in are free, please email me to get confirmation of that availability and the tour details/costs, plus answers to any other queries you may have.
I will then hold the date(s) you enquired about for a period of SEVEN DAYS pending receipt of your firm booking.
To complete your booking I have a simple, prompt and secure online method ....
MAKING A BOOKING AND PAYING THE BOOKING DEPOSIT
Having first checked that I can handle your request use the paypal 'PAY NOW' button on the appropriate tour page to make your booking. The deposit will be transferred securely by PAYPAL and you are fully protected. Please see the PAYPAL website if you wish to know more about security.
Your acknowledgement and receipt should be with you from both PAYPAL and myself within 24 hours, and if not received within this time you should contact me.
The balance payment is due 7 days before your travel dates if using PAYPAL, or if you prefer it can be made in cash at the commencement of your tour. (In UK Pounds, or in Euros or US Dollars only, at the quoted Exchange Rate on the day).
GENERAL INFORMATION
Tour prices quoted are in £’s sterling. Use the currency converter on my website to get the price in your own currency.
Price quoted is the total price for me as your driver-guide and our minivan, whether you are a lone individual or an eight person group* of family or friends.
* My van's maximum.
On Big Bus Tours the price applies for your total group up to a maximum of 72 persons. Passenger numbers should always be advised when first enquiring.
Day tours and non-inclusive away (overnight) tours include:
gasoline/petrol,
all miles driven,
parking,
on-board soft drinks,
occasional snacks (on away tours),
the full services of your driver-guide.
Day tours exclude:
entrance charges to places visited,
meals (except on 'The Big One!' Tour 1 and 'The Big One!' Tour 2).
Away (overnight) tours include:
gasoline/petrol,
all miles driven,
parking,
full services of your driver-guide,
on-board soft drinks,
occasional snacks,
accommodation with breakfast and other meals as described in the tour itinerary if the tour is inclusive.
All Day and Away Tours Exclude:
Flights to and from the UK.
Any room service charges incurred by you.
Extra Hours: On day-tours additional hours are charged at £35 per hour. On away tours we assume an average 8/9 hour flexible day, longer days can be agreed at the time.
No additional taxes are charged - the price you see is the price you pay.
The necessary small print:
GENERAL CONDITIONS Ruddick Tours and its' agents and servants shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury, accident, delay or irregularity suffered by any customer however caused, only to the extent that they are themselves liable under English Law for negligence or breach of the conditions of the contract. The client's contract with Ruddick Tours is subject exclusively to English Law and jurisdiction.
CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation charges may apply. Refunds are subject to written notice being received by us: If cancellation notice is given - Over 28 days before the tour, a full refund is given. Between 8 and 28 days before the tour, 70% refund. Between 1 and 7 days before the tour, 50% refund. If cancellation is made on the day of a tour, no refund is made. Inclusive multi-day tours only: if an inclusive multi-day tour is cancelled thirty days or more before the scheduled tour date, an administration charge of £100 will be made.
INSURANCE Ruddick Tours does not arrange personal travel insurance, but we strongly recommend it. It can be arranged through any reputable travel agent in your own country or on-line. Here is a link: www.QuoteWright.com.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY OF YOUR TOUR ...
Tours usually commence from and terminate at your hotel, airport or docks (unless we are requested otherwise). My mobile telephone number is 07971 087354, in case of emergencies, late arrivals, etc. If another guide is handling your tour his /her mobile telephone number will be stated in your Booking Confirmation.
