Christopher's Column for all Kids ..
Issue No. 3 Summer 2005
Hi everyone!
My name's Christopher. I'm 9 years old and I live in London, England, UK and this is my column for kids. I go to Deanesfield School in South Ruislip, click here to visit our school website >>
From time to time I will be adding some new stuff to my column, so please add me to your Favourites and come back again to see what's happening. There will also soon be a new feature about things you want to see which you think will be interesting for Kids aged 8 - 18. So if you have a hobby or interest that you would like to see up here let me know and I'll get my Dad to include it. If your parents don't know you're seeing this please show my page to them and always ask permission before ever sending e-mails to guys you don't know (it's a grown ups thing...).
NEW!!! - a KIDZ NEWZ ARTICLE EACH ISSUE - this issue features an exciting new Kids Theatre Club ...
Best wishes

Have fun in London's West End this Saturday! Kids Theatre Club, led by specially trained performers and directors, is open to all 8 - 12 year olds. During the two hour session you can play drama games, experience stage make-up and create your own mini-show. The club is open to everyone - just get your parents to call 020 7943 4750 to book a place. Kids Theatre Club takes place 10am-12noon every Saturday morning at the Theatre Museum, Russell Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 7PR. Sessions cost only £5.
Also, following the huge success of the Cats Kids Clubs, the Cameron Mackintosh Education Unit has created The Miz Kids Club at the Queen's Theatre, which is based on the legendary production of Les Misérables.
Clubs will be running on the first third and fourth Saturday of each month. The first and fourth Saturdays are for children aged 8-11 years and the third Saturday is for those aged 12-15 years. Running time is 10.45am-1.30pm.
Packages including tickets for the matinee performance of Les Misérables and the Miz Kids Club start at £28. The club consists of a backstage tour of the Queen's Theatre, a snack lunch, a drama and singing workshop, the opportunity to meet a member of the cast, and an exclusive certificate of attendance!
For full details of all packages, please contact John Scarborough on 0870 850 9171. There are limited places available - early booking is essential!
